Russia's PhosAgro exports seen at 8.7 mln tns in 2023
MOSCOW, Dec 27 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer PhosAgro has preliminarily estimated its exports in 2023 at 8.7 million tonnes, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
"Preliminary data also demonstrated an increase of exports to 8.7 million tonnes with nitrogen mineral fertilizers’ export growth rising by 6.5%, of feed phosphates by 8.7%. The countries of the global South, Latin America, Asia and Africa remained the key sales markets," PhosAgro said.
The company registered redistribution of about 1 million tonnes of fertilizers from India and other Asian states to Latin America amid recovering demand in Brazil and in general a more favorable price and transport situation in the area.
Shipments to Africa exceeded 550,000 tonnes, to the CIS grew by 18%.
